The man who one report has claimed was behind the fake girlfriend hoax involving Notre Dame football star Manti Te'o reportedly auditioned for the upcoming season of The Voice -- and may have told the crew a false story about himself. Us Weekly reports that Ronaiah Tuiasosopo claimed to The Voice producers that he and his cousins, with whom he'd formed a Christian music band, had survived a "massive" car accident in Nevada. He passed a background check, but given his alleged involvement in the Te'o hoax, a source says, "people now think the sob story is fake." Tuiasosopo's audition was unsuccessful -- he was not selected by any of the four coaches.
