Bob Seger Schedules Co-Headlining Concerts with Kid Rock
Bob Seger has added two special shows to his recently-announced North American tour. The Michigan rocker and his Silver Bullet Band will be joined by good friend Kid Rock and his group, Twisted Brown Trucker Band, for co-headlining shows on March 15 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, and on March 16 at the Fargo Dome in Fargo, North Dakota.
The pairing comes as no surprise: Seger and Rock have been friends ever since they met in 2000. Rock had the honor of inducting Seger into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the two also sang a duet of Vince Gill's "Real Mean Bottle" that appears on Bob's 2006 album, Face the Promise. Seger later returned the favor by playing piano on the song "Collide," from Rock's 2010 release, Born Free.
Tickets for both shows go on sale January 26 at 10 a.m. local time. A ticket pre-sale will be available for members of Seger's and Rock's fan clubs. Visit BobSeger.com and KidRock.com for more info.
Seger's North American tour gets under way February 27 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and currently is mapped out through an April 2 stop in Denver.
