Next month marks the 35th anniversary of the release of Eric Clapton's Slowhand, and to celebrate the milestone, the guitar legend will issue remastered, expanded versions of classic 1977 album in multiple formats and configurations.

Slowhand featured a variety of enduring tunes, including three songs that continue to be radio staples -- "Lay Down Sally," "Wonderful Tonight" and "Cocaine."  Due out on November 19, the deluxe packages will include several previously unreleased outtakes from the sessions, as well as performances from an April 1977 concert Clapton gave at London's Hammersmith Odeon.

The Super Deluxe Edition of Slowhand will feature five discs, including a CD of the album with four extra tunes; a two-CD set boasting 14 performances from the aforementioned London show; a DVD-Audio version of the original nine-track album; and a high-quality vinyl LP of Slowhand.  The package also offers replica tour programs and a book focusing on the making of the album.

A deluxe, two-CD edition of the remastered Slowhand also will be sold, featuring the expanded, 13-track version of the album and disc containing nine songs from the 1977 Hammersmith Odeon concert.  The Slowhand 35th Anniversary album also will be released as a single CD, a separate vinyl disc and a digital download.
