Carol has had the advantage of being on all sides of recruiting: as an agency recruiter for over 9 years she led the Insurance National Search and The National Recruiters Associations, in annual placements and billings. As a corporate recruiter and HR Director she has developed, implemented and maintained robust recruiting programs for many national and international corporations. In all of her roles she was quite often both the recruiter and the hiring manager. While job boards and resume searches have certainly had a place in identifying candidates, it has consistently been the alternative recruiting strategies she employees that has earned her a reputation for cultivating and placing candidates who "stick". Enabling employers to focus on employee growth and not replacement; and employees to enjoy the many benefits of longevity with an employer. Carol's career of over 25 years has included developing and managing HR and recruiting teams at Publishers Clearing House, MetLife and Prudential. As a consultant to Fortune 100 companies she has placed 100s of candidates at all levels of employment. Additionally she has been an invited guest speak at many associations such as the Society of Human Resource, and Brookhaven Town Economic Development as a recruiting, staffing and retention specialist.
Julie has demonstrated her knowledge and understanding of the recruitment industry for a solid decade. Currently, as managing partner of Corporate Hiring Solutions, Inc. Julie discovers the needs of both clients and prospective job-seekers to make placements to her client companies even more successful. Not only does she match the skills of the job applicant, she recommends the type of work environment (for example, formal corporate vs. informal, business casual) in which they will thrive. Julie also excels over her competitors by finding job opportunities and identifying qualified applicants from entry level — to middle-management. Recent placements have included – but are not limited to – Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Director, Quality Finance Auditor, Import–Export coordinator, Human Resource Generalist, Human Resource Recruiter, Executive Administrative Assistant and Customer Service, Sales, and much more!
Julie is on the board of The Brookhaven Business Advisory Council (BBAC), they serve as the small business liaison to the Supervisor and Town Board. The council is comprised of small business owners and professionals who serve on a volunteer basis. She volunteers her time and efforts in being a Co-Chair of the Annual Job Fair coordinating and connecting over 500 attendees and local businesses within the community.
