U2's Bono, on Nelson Mandela

U2 frontman Bono has written an essay to honor the memory of the late Nelson Mandela.

His 1,051 word composition, published by Time, is called "The Man Who Could Not Cry."  Bono refers to Mandela as a "forceful presence" in his life since 1979, when U2 made its first anti-apartheid stand.
